honestly man, I know you put time into it, but unless a char is at at minimum 2x40 with very sweet stats and a good load of eq, there's no way you'd get 10mil for it.. believe me, I've tried, and that was with a char with a good rep...

Strength isn't overly important as a shifter. I think his whole plan is somewhat flawed though. He's asking for in-game coins, which means whoever buys Saraen will have to pay another of Saraen's characters, which doesn't do much to help him start over in another char. Given his history, I don't know if he'd be able to take advantage of a clean start or not, but it'd be nice if he gave himself a chance.

Surely there are various ways he could transfer the money anonymously. For example, couldn't he accept the payment with a throwaway character who then ships it to his alt? Or can you even ship cash? If not, it can go the other way - the alt could ship a bread to the throwaway for 10m coins.

The throwaway could also stick the money somewhere obscure, e.g. on a small mob nobody ever kills, then log off and come on with his alt to kill it and collect.
