I would guess they made some changes so that mobs may not fight each other anymore, discouraging intelligent play and thinking around corners :p

Um... that would make it impossible to be a necro. It was probably changed to stop fighting if the mob doesn't have a PC leader. That would fix some of the bugs like the one where the gang leader on valk would attack his own gang members instead of the PCs. It would also stop some of the tricks that aren't used anymore... like having St. Peter mort the guardian angel. This would appear to be a side effect.

Well... I kept in mind some other thng. Kobolds came to invaid BH town, they start fight and calm down... hehe :) and I'm almost sure they are still spamming in one room even after 20 ticks. I know about chenges with mobs stopping fight, but the main ida of this post is that these new chenges are made with some defects which do not ruin in playing styles of players, but make this MUD look worse.

Good point; I'll fix it. There are very few mobs that legitimately fight each other, I just forgot about the kobolds.

Does that mean, if most mobs fight other ones, it is illegal?

If yes, please add that to rules.

What's the point of suggesting more rules? They've obviously just altered the code so that an official rule isn't needed. I shouldn't post on msg boards before I have my coffee and cigarettes, because I just end up cussing people out and calling names.

Great, mobs have been "fixed" so they don't fight each other! This opens up a whole new range of possibilities... I've already made a weak proccing mob solo a more dangerous mob thanks to the new "calm down" change.

But is fixed even the right word? imho, a mob should attack anyone who casts meteor swarm on it, player or not.

I mean, give me a break mr. elder titan! All I did is deathgrip you, toss a couple destructions and order my undead followers to maul you. Don't hate me! You wouldn't hate me if i were a mob!
