Squelch

Squelch: After the next crash or reboot, there will be a new function in the mud. If you type | at the end of a line, it will negate that command and also any other commands that you have already typed but have not yet been executed, e.g. because you are lagged.

nice.. will this work if you forget you're webbed, then recall, then type in a run, only to realize you're still webbed and have to sit there for the next 10 mins with web lag until the 'run' is finished? That will rock..

those of us who recall when webbed then type in a long run usually just cut link and relog in to stop that spammed weblag, but thx for this :)
Yeah bringing you another disturbing creation from the mind of one sick animal who can't tell the difference and gets stupified.

Thanks Jake
Strike has a loooong lag time. This works great for killing a strike command already sent. Got killed a few times when I've recalled and had to wait for strike to be processed.

Lol, did u try it? Those recently lags makes me crazy. I don't wanna use this command, i'm gonna fight. Is there any way to kill lag, not kill command?

Last night i was so lagged i can't even run to inn, drop connect and try to reconnect but failed (connection starts up but nothing more). Dunno is it lag or just crush/reboot but i was unable to connect during 1 hour then turn comp off and went to sleep. This morning i found myself weak and sick (1hp 1ma 1mv) and w/o money in inventory (i'm pretty sure i had about 500k in my pocket). I'm not whining cause it's not so big loss but i'm happy i wasn't in fight or dying or looted. Hope immz will find the way to kill this lag or it could kill Sloth.

p.s. ept, due to lag i miss fast repop day :x

Personally, I think we should have more lag. Normally, there's nothing that gets the heartrate up like stabbing, but I'm learning that a few minutes of lag after your group attacks a big pissed off mob is much the same, only better. Stabbing you only worry about your own death.

Luckily, Sloth isn't a grouping mud.

My question is: Is the squelch causing this or is it some other random problem?

I don't see how squelch could be causing it.
