The Scribe's Shop
A large table dominates this room. Piles of unfinished scrolls lie
scattered across the table while a well of ink rests precariously near the
edge. The stone floor around the table is stained with dots of ink. A
simple wooden lantern hangs above the table providing barely enough light
to see by and a pile of finished scrolls rest on a wooden chair in the
corner.

*grin* i did not mean to imply that scribes shops are not proper place to drop books - i meant places like outside in the streets - just randomly dropping/littering books anywhere but in places like scribes, inns, guild book rooms and libraries. too many ppl are looking for those books and to have them lying around in places where they a) do not load and b) in areas where that char cannot go for whatever reason is just frustrating. actually, the whole point of that post was to point out there was a LOT of books in the scribes shop - i thought it quite kewl that there were so many books (that and seeing that the mud had been up for over 2 days when checked time started)

yeah - misunderstood. Wow there were a lot of books.

Have been trying to pick up the books lying around in the streets and drop them off at a suitable point. Keep finding them hidden in the mines and similar places.

See your point now Firebrand.

Spellbooks all over the place tonight. A whole load at the burned ruins in BH and random books all over the place.
Please make it easy for everyone to find them by putting them in scribe shops or inns.
