Equanimity

My protects and rescues are failing 100% of the time when shifted. I understand that equanimity isn't supposed to be as effective with higher forms, but is it really supposed to fail all the time? Is there anything I can do to utilize this skill?

Not with anything bigger than a wurm. It wouldn't do to have you shifted
as a 2500hp piasa with -11 tanking and protecting the group would it?
That would make warrior more or less useless.

wanna talk about feeling useless? how about being a 40/40/40/40/31 wa prime with 1100+ hps and -11 getting told by a 2x40 wa/mo at -10 with 200 LESS hps than me that he did not want me tanking because i did not have dam reduc and and a couple other skills is ******* bullshit. not because he wouldn't let me tank, but because he was actually right. i was pissed that a goddamned 2x40 wa/mo was able to make a 31 av wa/ma absolutely useless and only needed in the group for my spells and to provide extra meat to get hit on. but the other reasons he gave were explained to me in a private conversation - and those i fully understood and agreed with. (and dude you know who you are. this is NOT a private dig at you, nor is it intended to start a fight with you. we shook hands and are all good.)

It's just that there are more 'pure' tank class orders now, sucks that it happened like that, but I know a few other big Avatar tanks who are outdated now too. The thing is most of the 'pure class' tanks aren't very good for anything except tanking. On the whole I would say WMTC is a better overall
all-purpose character.
