Since everyone is suggesting things..

Here is an idea I had to offset the shittiness of having to read spellbooks for up to 10 minutes at a time.

It would be nice to have a room called "The Study Hall" somewhere that maybe required a 5dr pass called 'hall pass' or some such. IN the study hall your reading durations are cut in half. You could simply make the pass sell at the Dream Weaver or have it be part of some little newb auto. I was quite dismayed to log on Mustang and read spellbooks for 45 mins yesterday. Realism is one thing, that's just dogshit.
The perfect blend of poetry and meanness..

Actually 13, you're not the only one thinking it. It would be nice of having a way of affecting this. Study hall is a cool idea, might also be cool if having a higher wisdom could speed up reading. Since we have mini-ticks now, you'd think it would be possible to make a page equal to various increments of a tick instead of just a whole tick.
