are we all reading the same thread here? I'm confused. No-one has suggested allowing pthieving (actually i think Weasel was the only one to bring it up) although to be fair, if you lose a fight pvp, it's not really pthieving now, is it? I mean, you lost a fight in an area you went to voluntarily, it's not like you where lazy and got caught out with some eq in the open. I see some people coming up with some decent suggestions (none of which involved implementing, or even suggesting, pthieves), and some people saying oh noes! a voluntary area I'd never have to set foot in, pthieves oh my!
It's not like we're talking about making Olympus pvp so you'd be safe anyways.

Ive had Stelios for 2 years. At the time I was given the password he said have fun i dont play anymore. If the person that gave me the password didnt want me to use it or sell it, they shouldnt have given me the password 2 years ago.

One piece, not 2. In general you are known for making things dissapear from vaults, which is part of the reason why i built my own vault on BH.

Albert gave me the password for Mustang, which you and Mike said you needed back for the clan, which I then gave you the character back. You then sold the char yourself. I dont know who has Mustang now, but im sure if you asked him hed remember you selling it to him.

Since 1994 ive done pleanty to earn the one piece of quest eq I did get. Most of my time on Sloth 3 has been as a Cleric prime, which makes it not easy to attain quest eq. I will take your advice Aaron and start to try to lead groups, so perhaps the next time a quest group rolls around I can lead one properly.

I have contributed to DoW as a group member, and whether I move on or not it doesnt stop the fact you are a jerk. What has made it difficult is everyone else in DoW is a stand up character, I enjoy playing with them, and them as a whole. Everyone else can log on and have fun. Its just you that ruins the fun for me. DoW is more than just you. Whether you started it or not.

My dissapointment with you, just You, not DoW, just YOU starts from the case of beer I bought you, and you not living up to your end of the deal. You ripped me off. I think you expect everyone to respect you, even while you put people down. Respect has to be earned, everyone knows that.

Of course your slate is not clean, and most everyone would know this. I think the pinacle move for you lately was to try to add Poolp/Malorne to the clan.

As a leader and a creator of a clan, suggensting to add Poolp/Malorne, the most aggressive/best pthief of the recent era to this DoW clan says everything anyone would need to know about you. I realise Poolp/Malorne has sold you stolen eq and you benefitted from it, so you owe him one. But really says a lot about what you are trying to do with the DoW clan. Your vision for the clan perhaps.

When I did go out to So. Illinoi to visit, you generally seemed to be a cool guy in person. When you enter sloth, somtimes you are cool, and other times you cant resist being a giant jerk. Try to go for the cool guy, because after everything ive written here, that is fun to game with. No-one likes to game with an a-hole.

Yes Mustang was bartered back for a Staff of Warlocks. Pretty cheap consdiering the power of the char. I still enjoy the importance of getting Mustang back for the "clan" tank, then you sold it for your own profit anyway.

The last time we actually spoke, and worked out our differenes about the eq, you promised a set of Iolite comps. First you couldnt find your key for your vault, someone else had it. Then after some more reminders you had no idea what I was talking about.

The original deal was the helm, and shard which you did deliver. You were then supposed to collect and build Obsidian sleeves, and finish my Ars Magica. With the sleeves you said at the time damn i just sold those on Mullah. Time went by and it got forgotten.

I told Mike the last time you and I both blew up, Id settle for 2 flaming serpent rings and leave it alone. Either you didnt hear about it, or blew it off. I post the challenge to you to fufill your debts.

Ill NEVER bother you again for 2 flaming serpent rings. The value of that deal is there. I get an old debt settled, and will stop bothering you which you would like, and you get to pay your debts.

You are correct I did cut my hand off by making a cleric prime. I would make another char, and have started to build one. However between a day job, music gigs at night, and practicing to get a bigger music job it makes it impossible to take the time to mud up a new 40 avatar char. So it is my fault for building what I did originally. At the time Monk, necro, druid, and bard didnt exist. Hes old and I know it. At the moment I cant do much about it. I dont have time.

Let's bring it home shall we? Splork was on the right vein when he spoke of the headaches and anomosity in dealing with Pk area/conti. A couple of <deleted> dolts attempt to ruin it for all because of their <deleted> attitudes.

I could see an area that could be sailed to from one of the main continents. Upon arrival, 4-5 rooms could be set aside not unlike 'peace rooms' while while regened up, filled supplies etc etc...

A Questmaster like the one in arena, could be placed at the enter/exit gate. Now his job would to announce that 3-5 minutes before battle starts. This could be in yell/holler channel to keep gossip channel free. At this time, other particpants could 'follow up'. The exit gate would be open for anyone wishing to go ahead and enter and stake out an area.At the conclusion of the countdown, the Questmaster could group teleport everyone in room dropping them in random rooms. Upon one dying, they would be 'recalled and restored' at Questmaster and could wait for the next round. They would be unable to re-enter arena until time was over.

There are other rules/flags that should go into affect as well. No doubt it will require tinkering, but it basically resolves any pthieving issue that someone/anyone might have and also allow anyone who wanted to join in to do so without regret. Not sure if MOB's would be necessary. I think death-traps would be kinda cool. Throw someone to their death...into a pool of acid etc etc would be nice kill.

Prize,
Not sure if any prizes would be necessary as area was fleshed out. Maybe, a board with winners to start with for style points, after that who knows.. maybe some ingame betting from people wishing to offer up eq/coins from their personal stash.

Yeah right. It would've been from the original thread, which started way before this vote thread was created, as you well know since you were the one who created this 'vote' thread in the first place, ffs.. nice try, but no cigar.

I always seem to regret getting involved with anything here, and nearly every time it's the same people who make me regret it - and this latest sh*t just reinforces that. I'll go back to sticking to myself and not letting some asshat get in the way of my actually enjoying a bit of 'time out' from an otherwise overly full schedule irl.

There are a lot of good people here too, so don't take my comments the wrong way if you're one of them.
