Someone mentioned starting on the continent never to leave. I like this. This way nobody can complain about a higher level char coming to kill noobs. The main problem is that few people will want to write areas for this continent.

Why not play the pk continent as a challenge and not as a frustration? Why get upset over a game? You would be surprised of the environment a pk continent would create. Anti-pks would form clans to stop the horrible pks. Assholes would be just begging to get killed. Even the average scrub could get some kills in. If there is no corpse looting or eq loss then death is no biggie. Even xp loss isn't that harsh. As far as trash talking goes, gimme a break. Losers will whine and send tells, you simply go notell and chuckle while they sit out for 5 min.

So much enthusiasm is a good thing.. perhaps channel that enthusiasm into increasing the player base, and then it might be more practical to dedicate an area or even continent to pvp. ..I'll always be anti-pthieving though.

When players are calling other players pussies, crybabies and loosers, what are they supposed to do? Be happy about it? Of course they get angry. And over what, expressing an opinion, and writing some words.

Do you guys choosing to use middle school language talk like that to people in real life? How the hell do you hold jobs, or handle day to day work and interaction with others?

You cant react towards others in that fashion, in a public setting, and expect them not to react poorly back to you. How stupid is that?

You people always die and get looted on hard mobs with high class eq. But still whine about pk continent, that is just bit more challenging - you can get killed by a player too.
Personallly, I think PK cont could be good idea, to make something different for a game. In a ways it can attract new players or bring back retired ones. No corpsing fit very well for that continent, could be nice to removing 'dead condition' too, players simply go in the room they cant leave for some ticks right after getting killed.
Some overrated temp eq might be fun as well for that cont. Remember holy grenade or Celestial set items? Of course with no vaults allowed there to stock em up Come on, why you people so against it, just dont go there if you dont like it. There are plenty non-pk areas in sloth where you dont go just because, and chaos areas like ET and DoT that are extremely popular.

OK, please get one thing straight. I for one was against this idea not so much because of pkilling, but because of pthieving, and partly now because of the animosity it is creating. I and others have mentioned this more than once, but it keeps getting ignored and we keep getting called pussies or other infantile names. It is because of this reaction that we / I am realizing that this idea is going to create even more of the same treatment, and start taking away the enjoyment of the friendly atmosphere that has been sloth up to now.

Who facking cares how I choose to play, as long as in doing so, I do not adversely affect the enjoyment of others? This pk continent idea alone is creating animosity, and abuse for things that weren't even at issue had some bothered to read before throwing names around. My issue has always been that certain people have from the start wanted a pvp + pthieving area, and it's freaking obvious that their motivation was not the idea of pvp. That was my major objection.

On the side, mobs looting don't junk eq or pass stolen eq to another player or sell it or ransom it or run off to safe areas or vault or rent. 99% of the time you can get your looted eq back from a mob, no so with a pthief.

Once again for the hard of hearing, IF there were no pthieving / looting, then I'm not anywhere near as opposed to this idea, although that view is rapidly changing because of the namecalling this is already creating.

Try to keep this a discussion and cut the schoolyard names. please.

Taken out of context yet again. The entire sentence was:

Big difference, so why don't you practice what you preach and shut up yourself.. sheesh. The original argument was about a pvp AND pthief continent, which is where I objected - how many times do I need to clarify that? I made a suggestion earlier which you (I think it was you) actually repeated later, re nolooting etc.

Regardless, who the f*** are you to tell me when I should or should not express my opinion, particularly when you follow that up with expressing your opinion of someone else, be it valid or not, which is not even related to the subject?

Don't pull me back in to the 'discussion' with inflammatory comments, and maybe you'll get your wish.
