[i:24fxyzzn]"I wasn't desperate to get wasted. Believe it or not, there are some beers that aren't available nationwide, and I am a *good* beer afficionado. If I can't get it here, I'm happy to trade someone something that's local and easy for me."[/i:24fxyzzn]

I know, I'm just yanking your chain. Although I would have hoped it would have been some good imported beer, like maybe Scottish or Austrian.

[quote="12345":tzi3384w]There's also plenty of people in the game that don't have a DoW tag, so acting like they're the Borg is a bit melodramatic.[/quote:tzi3384w]
hehe crack me up that did.. although not a good idea to put quest rewards to the vote when there's a bunch of clan members there huh :?

In your last post, it should be noted that in the same mysterious vault I lost a POY in your vault just after you came back from a break in playing. It was unfortunate that then your cracked skull lamp also dissapeared.
Maybe the two items are somehow connceted. Your answer if you remember to me at that time was stuff dissapears and that was that.

Off the deep end, maybe. But you welched on a deal, expect to be held accountable for it. You ripped me off and Im pissed. Earlier this year I tried several times to e-mail you privately and you blew it off. Your e-mail did have problems, but you had started to respond then didnt when questions got asked.
So when at the beginning of this post you flamed out on me it seriously pissed me off.

In regards to Torso, I stole the briefcase out of his inventory once.
I think the only item of interest was a Juju charm. Played a level 20 thief for about 1 month in summer of 2004. Mostly got food bags and junk bags. Didnt have the urge to ruin a player by stealing a robe, and the junk bags got boring so I stopped.

Aaron I just dont appreciate your behavior/attitude and ive had it. Sorry.

First of all, im not defending any of Als past actions. My comment is that he seems to be doing alot better and theres no reason to bring up old stuff that doesnt matter. Aaron has asked me several times to invite Al back into the clan, he was a member before Mosaix. As far as the trash talk about DoW, I remember the stuff you guys say and the next time someone needs help I might not be around. We can start making this personal if you like.

Mike

PS My clan is about free thinkers, people that can do stuff for themselves. We dont pthief, harass, or otherwise ruin anyones time on the mud. Its in my opinion that its quite the opposite.

The reason for Elwood's departure or any other Imms for that matter is between admin and that particular Immortal.

Enjoy,
Splork

Aaron was the Immortal Elwood...

I don't even lock threads when their sole purpose is to rip me a new one, so I am pretty hesitant to lock this one. Especially when I am enjoying the drama :P

I have also very much enjoyed this post. In fact its been the highlight of my mornings and I check it throughout the day.

As a n00b to sloth, I often feel outside of the hard core old player groups of which I generally try hard to mix with, in order to learn the game.

I've frequented the slothmud player gallery, trying to figure out who is who, and who is buddies with who, just so I can figure out where I fit in and who are the best people to ask for advice.

I was pretty disappointed when this whole post could be summarized by two brothers complaining to their mum that each had stolen each others toys. However its been great to know where people stand with each other. I find it hard to understand why there seems to be this cone of silence on various things on sloth. *shrug*

Sometimes I think of ditching my southerners tag and joining a clan which could be of benefit to me. But I guess its more about others than yourself and thats what makes it fun. I guess shyla is a bit of an example about that.

Someone asked me this online, thought it fair to respond here.

I like Dow, I truly enjoy Dow. Thats not in question for me. They are good people that band together. The makeup of current players shows smarts and intelligence that I enjoy playing the game with. Nab, Blastem, Krok and Minstreal in particular at one time or another have gotten together and knocked some stuff out for sure. Lis took a break and is now back, Daedalus is very nice and has rescued my dead ass on more then one occasion via ICQ. For all my complaining on this thread Aaron most of the time is ok, hes a nice guy in person, but online seems to go a-hole mode from time to time. Some of the earlier members I never really got to meet. This particular deal, and getting blasted earlier in the thread really pissed me off, and have nothing to do with Dow itself.

Albert and I have had some enjoyable moments and some not so enjoyable moments. I dont dislike him, i just cant say im pleased with him. Neutral.

Aaron in response to your question. I asked for 4 forges back then. The helm of dwarves and grey shard you had and gave up. Obsidian sleeves and Rune of Netherworld were supposed to be built over time and handed over. They never got done. Mike has helped me quite a bit over time with what has now become an Ars Magica project as it was added after 2004.
I think im almost done with it except for 2-3 comps on the rune, and
1 comp on one other forge for Ars. Maybe you guys could assist me in finishing the Ars and then call it a day on this. I dont have time to hawk the mud all day and finish it myself. This summer id be able to play a bit though in about a week or 2 when my gigs are done. Want to finally get to 40 avatar with silly Klurik Mosaix
