I don't quite understand what your saying Yasik. I use credit cards but have never paid 1 cent in interest on them. I use the rewards to actually make money from them.

I do have a home mortgage at 6.125% but I pay less with my mortgage and taxes/insurance than I would if I rented this home. Plus I can do what I want and not worry about a thing. I don't let the bank system take advantage of me. The only ones taking advantage of me are politicians who think that my tax dollars are simply numbers for them to toss around as they desire. Politicians are the true enemy of the free people, not banks or capitalists.

There is no black and white distinction 'capitalist' or 'socialist' or even 'communist'. Much of the arguing that goes back and forth is hyperbole and abstract jargon.

The fact is without government meddling, the middle class would be tiny. The wealthy would increasingly press their economic advantage to the deficit of the poor. Society would look more feudalistic than democratic.

Of course there's a balance. If we give the politicians too much control over the economy it becomes inefficient and corrupt.

I thought Obama would be more moderate than he's demonstrated so far. I don't like these bailouts any more than those on the far right. We seem to be nationalizing failed financial institutions for some unknown purpose. There also seems to be no attempt to reign in rising medicare and social security payouts.
Talk to the clown.

Toxis skillfully parries the attack of Sailor Bill.
Toxis's riposte viciously massacres Sailor Bill.
Sailor Bill misses Toxis with his hit.
As you swing your weapon, it slips and slices through your own neck!
That Really did HURT!
You wish that your wounds would stop BLEEDING that much!
You massacre Sailor Bill to small fragments with your claw.
You massacre Sailor Bill to small fragments with your claw.
Toxis delivers a critical blow to one of Sailor Bill's vital organs.
Toxis brutally massacres Sailor Bill with his slash.

Britain pondering on how to reduce its population to just 30 million people...
Genocide anybody? And they call me crazy...

Side note sort of funny..

I had 3 keywords to begin with to look into this

Gordon Brown O.P.P.

I tried just O.P.P... and got alot of links with PRON...

so 10 minutes later I tried Gordon Brown O.P.P.

Just got back from a 3 week holiday to New Zealand. The effect of the 'Recession' is different there, exports are hurting more... I'd have to say in Australia where I am, we are still waiting for it to 'hit' in comparison.

The focus of the recession all seems to be about China here... rumours our government is borrowing big from them. Private companies in China seem to be investing big in other countries infrastructure while people are desperate for cash. When(?) it all clears up, figure China is going to be a huge player in practically everything. It seems to be in the throws of going from caterpillar to butterfly... however so much conflicting information... like is there economic strength really as large as suggested, or is it just some phoney communistic spin?

I'm not sure China can stay being, so called, "communist", if the full power of there economic arms becomes apparent, or will they collapse under there own weight, interesting times. I'm looking to move back to NZ to be closer to extended family. All my time is tied up in decision making and planing the move at the moment. My slothing is in limbo.

Oamaru/Christchurch. All my extended family live there. It's an awesome lifestyle... snowboarding, hunting, hiking, surfing (if your mad). I have a bunch of cousins of a similar age heavily into these things. I just can't do this city thing any more... it's not me, and I just find myself wishing I was back. The weather can be pretty random but I discovered this clothing brand called icebreaker.

[url:2fzi0dhz]http://www.icebreaker.com[/url:2fzi0dhz]

OMG! Unbelievable! I can wear like 2 layers of this stuff at 5 degrees and not feel a stiff cold breeze, it's finely spun wool from a merino, and it's light, not itchy, it breaths so you don't sweat, doesn't smell even if you wear for weeks... highly recommended. You don't have to look like an eskimo to keep warm in sub zero. I was at altitude with a north-westerly blowing over the snow covered mountains into my face... hands... freezing... nose... dripping... body... perfectly neutral. Best thing since my Woolen Aasan.
