We're ok. The game running perfectly, no lag etc.
I'm connected to slothmud.org 6101, as always for last 10 years or so.
Not to g.slothmud.org, not to 209.139.208.65, and so on.

I was unable to connect also and see a special few on! I bet there are poping all the good eq and maybe even a drachma scatter. How come they dont make a rune for connections

It astounds me that someone with such skill and resource would waste their time attacking a free text based rpg. One would think they'd get bored and stop.

The whole behavior is like a firewall or IDS/IPS that upholds current established connections, but refuses new ones.
If something is being used, I guess wont hurt to review the filtering settings/rules or whatever.
