if u think I was allowed back into the game peacefully, u're mighty wrong.

i was harassed, webbed, blinded, pkilled for quite a while. I never once whined and whinged about it, tho it seems that it's only harassment if your victim whines about it.

I made the effort to contribute to the mud, and help out people. Yes, I may still have a potty mouth and act like a smart alec, but those who know me will know that it's just a persona i adopted on the mud.

On another note, I think this mud is starting to become rather like the country I live in. Rules are only enforced if you whine, then if u whine the admin tells you to stop whining and do somethinc constructive.

some time ago a certain imm whose char name rhymes with a certain part of the female anatomy started spreading rumors around that I was poolp., posted imm info about me "stealing" 48 times in 1 day from Mustang, etc etc. As far as I know, nothing was done to this retard. So you know, rules don't apply to all the imms as they claim it does.

so now u can't pkill known pthief's alts, u can't web/blind them, neither can u web/blind idiots who screw you over. So are we going to start doing background checks on people who create new chars, and submit them to IQ and means testing?

AFAIK, where disciplinary measures are concerned, the immortals will *generally* intervene only when pkilling is involved - webbing etc is most often left to the players to sort out amongst themselves, unless it gets excessive or it is malicious and unprovoked. Basically it's a judgment call by the immorts as to when (or if) they should get involved, but as a rough guideline, any actions deemed to be significantly disrupting the harmony of the mud are liable for immortal intervention. Correct me if I'm wrong - things may well have changed.

IMHO pthieving was removed in order to better slothmud, and most players are very glad to see it gone, so in the spirit of goodwill and in appreciation for the immorts making this change, perhaps we non-pthieves can leave -new- chars belonging to ex-pthieves alone (and they *are* ex-pthieves now - it's impossible not to be) and hope they learn they can enjoy slothmud as a legit player rather than an antagonistic pthieving asshat. Don't give them a reason to revert to their old ways first chance they get (touch wood), as understandably hard as that may be considering just how much of a negative impact they made on the game for many players.

As I see it, we've been given an opportunity to show slothmud is better off without pthieving, so lets not **** that opportunity up.

Pthieving is over, congrats those of you (us) who diliked ptheft as part of sloth have won the arguement with the imms (for now at least) lets be good winners, accept the victory and not carry on the fight we already won.

Personally I really dislike people being dubbed whiners on here, it smacks of the pthieves (the usual culprits) being the poor winners that most bullies were when they got away with it.

I've never been taken in by any of these spurious and ridiculous arguements. Lets not be the poor winners they were.

Lets just leave the now ex-pthieves to get on with whatever it is they now want to do, stop giving them the exposure their blatant insecurity and inferiority complexes obviously crave, secure in the knowledge that ptheft is now no longer part of sloth and its their turn to "live with it".

For you information, there are a couple more things that leave to be discussed after the changes were made. Otherwise I don't think we'd all be sitting around here with things to say.

The people here have been helpful even to me, offering me advice on how to deal with my mudlife right now and what is acceptable and what isn't.

It's just a game. Don't assume just because we pthieves pthief, we have some insecurity and inferiority complexes. I personally pthieved because it was fun, and it provided me entertainment when I started getting bored of playing the MUD as a normal player.

Sure, what else is there to do if we don't 'live with it'? Do you see us asking for pthieving back, as the rest of you asked for pthieving to be removed when it was still around? Do you see us threatening to leave the MUD when we were unsatisfied? I don't think so.

So with all due respect, please keep your 'peace' promoting, "end this thread please" speech to yourself because the non-pthieves are not being "poor winners", nor are the pthieves being "whiners". We're all "dealing with it".

Its my own business how to theat friends/unfamiliar_ppl/pthieves so put your threats away or i'll be very scared and will crying run away huhuhuh. I know your chars and avoid you coz you are dangerous enuf even while not performing any actions (blind/web/etc) simply by tanking in regen-mode.

Like Alias said, You can group w/ me poolp.....I've cursed the day you were born before, but what I want see on this mud is an open, friendly player base, so I gotta do my part and put the past in the past. If it means that I'm pissing off yet another uber lev. 40 tard who's been here for like 10 years etc. by letting you group w/ me, then they can refuse to let me group w/ them, I'm fine w/ that.

Well, I was one of the first people to jump right on and start harassing pulp as he think he's earned it and I don't really believe he wants to play. I think he's just gonna start pumping out level 8 thieves for a while.

But Akasha asked me nicely to let him play unharassed. With as much respect as I have for Akasha and what he's contributed to the game I surely can't refuse his request.

But I'm guessing that in the end, Poolp is just gonna make Akasha regret standing up for him.

Don't need it. You don't lead much anyway, and even if for some reason you do, I can get in without you knowing it's me.

BTW most people smart enough to buy their items back when I offered them. But some people just had too much pride and kept bragging about how he kills pthieves so much so that he forgot he could be a victim of one too. *thumbs up* I'm glad it happened right before pthieving was removed.

Akasha told me he hates pthieves but that's his job and that's pretty much what he's supposed to do. It wasn't his choice for him to regret later on.

Let's not get all high and mighty and state that the only reason you stopped harrassing me was because you respect him. You know deep down if you did continue harrassing me, an immort would have done something to your character and that's the true reason you stopped doing it. Why not tell the truth?

Sounds fair enough looks like I can lead more often and just keep em locked groups to who I know then . Doesn't hurt my feelings that I was pthieved against and it isnt like decanters are worth a fortune anyways. Honestly it was just a chance for you to gain my respect again, you shot it down your choice, probably a decision on your part for the good or bad thats up to you to decide.

PS- Don't look for my groups to be open to all the newbies it used to anymore fellas
