Based on the above, I think it's techincally been OK to kill him for the past several years. Based on his own comments, I don't think this worries him much.

You also lose a wagon full of points for good sense. There's many reasons why he hasn't become a corpse in that time.

I think the facts are simple. Gimlet was so upset at losing the password to Sorabji that he began secretly stockpiling weapons of mass destruction and we must now rise up and pkill him to take them away before he destroys the whole mud. It's indisputable.

Theres alot of players here who have pthieved in the past. I wont even begin to start naming people. All that aside I think Gimlet has been quite the gentleman lately. He used to be in our clan before he quit and has always helped me out. The only problem I ever had with him was his loud mouth on the gossip. Hes tamed that down alot and now some people start provoking him. I would rather you guys leave him alone and let him keep being a decent player instead of throwing around a bunch of bullshit and pissin him off. You guys are always talking about pking someone, but when a real pthief is on you turn your back. Speaking of real pthiefs, has anyone seen one in the last month?

I didnt name anyone, that came about in Aarons loud mouth response to "Bummer for Sorabji" Aaron you named Al.

Albert can be nice, polite, fun, and at times can help you out.
Though for the most part he cant stop stealing, disrupting and getting loud at those who question him.

Some things he is famous for:

1. Stealing Kong's Sword of Valor. Demanding a ransom, then junking it when the ransom wasnt paid.

2. Using gossip to check for people with weak tintin, then finding them and forcing them to quit and stealing their stuff. Example Tinkles. Dont see Tinkles anymore in game?, do last player.

3. At this time if you press button at the west gate 100 times and drop the notes you would see this. small note (100)
It used to be that you could drop those 100 notes and all 100 would show in the room. He would do thousands of those notes so when you either entered the game or recalled to west gate, you would loose your link from the spam. He would then steal from you while you were busy re-connecting. You pthiefed to a point where the code had to be changed to stop you.

4. Bugging an immortal to change a pword on a char, then using it until the player noticed his char online. Char was though returned.

5. Way back when you were Cyphus. I cant remember why at this moment but you were wiped. Long way to go to avatar and then end up getting purged.

The list is rather long, but he is very creative and very smart.
I definately applaud you for finding multiple ways to get things from people.

In the past he has used Blaze, Sorabji, Briar, and some others that I cant remember at the moment. They always seem to get "traded" away after they get too caught to use anymore. To my current knowledge he uses Gimlet, Volodos, and Visionary.

His behavior is disruptive, arrogant and plain stupid. Its time to put it to sleep. Either play the game with some respect, or expect to get ridiculed when people figure out who you are. Free pass is not valid here.
Mike I respect you alot, you a fantastic player. But I fail to understand protecting, and rationalizing, a perpetual pthief.

Aaron you want to be a big bully and push people around. Im really tired of it. Hopefully im not the only one affected by your behavior. I cant imagine all those you label "noobes" appreciate it, and I refuse to tolerate it anymore.

Again, you screwed me on that deal, and you should be ashamed. I took the time to visit with you guys there in Illinoi, and I get stomped on and bashed in return. Thats bullshit. You once traded Mullah for the same case of beer. Char was fully loaded. What I asked for in our deal was peanuts compared to that. Aaron good to see that Mullah, Eva, and Mustang are all under ~DS~ header now. 3 chars given away to people in another clan. I remember not too long ago how critical it was to get Mustang back for the "clan" but I guess not since it was given away.

To conclude my rant.
Pthiefs in general I can deal with. I dont keep stuff in my inventory, and i only change stuff around in safe rooms. However im tired of the chronic pthief stuff, and definatly tired of bullies that shove other mudders around. I am and will contiune to voice my opinion whether im mudding here and there or full time. Sloth has been a great game for me to play since 1994. I want it to be the best place to entertain and relax a bit from day to day life. Others should be able to have that joy, and not have it ruined by some dumb ass. Maybe Sloth 3 is content at being #5 all the time on the mud vote.

Time for some people to rise up and tell people to stuff it. The mud can be a fun social place, I dont expect it to be perfect, as it never will.
However some of you clowns need to seriously STFU and find something else to do. Keep your real life problems and short comings off the game and find somewhere else to vent and abuse.

Pretty nice rant too Mosaix. One thing that really annoys me is when pthiefs "retire" and then think you should give them more respect as a result. Well they don't ask for respect, but the fact that there "retirement" is announced is really a call for respect.

Next day they seem to be pthiefing again on some other random char once owned by somebody else shared by someone else, brought with a case of beer, from some other player, who posts as a char he no longer owns.

Seems to be a lot of secrets tied up in DoW.
