Now that I find that druids can kill in a peaceroom while shifted I think it's only fair that they should also be allowed to steal in a peaceroom... gonna make me a druid pthief and get right on that.Thanks

That's only about Gondor's reputation and some players not helping him in the future. I'm evil enough to remember that my friend Pendalf didn't get the ring.

I would like to petition that a higher level druid shift be allowed to steal.. shifting into level 4 ferret doesn't allow much of a chance for ptheivery.. may I suggest...

level 40 mongoose shadowwalk,steal,hide ??? :twisted:

Sure...you can get right onto levelling a druid to 32 avatar (same level a druid can pkill in a safe room, only fair it's the same level you can steal in one) :twisted:

Perhaps my reputation has been slightly soiled by all of this but I did what I felt was right after the way things started. Had they been acted upon differently the outcome would have surely been different. In the future try resolving the issue directly with the seller instead of taking it directly to the public.
Through all of my time on Sloth I have not had a problem with anyone until now. I have always went out of my way to help and have been helped in the past. I realize that is in the past and I plan to leave it there. If from this point forward you do not wish to help me thats fine. I will be sure not to ask for your help.

Everyone has their own opinion. At least we are in agreement that I we disagree.

Count on me Gondor.... I myself have never judged you and if your ever in a pickle I'll be glad to help. Having said that, I suggest that the ones that take offense to what happened to wake up and smell the roses. Had it been someone not well known or liked, it would have been perfectly ok to auction said item off. Get your priorities straight,the ones who are eager to accuse and condemn perhaps have the biggest skeletons in their closet. :idea:

Come'n guys, pls dun have all this ill feelings over what started out as a big misunderstanding.

Gnu lost a ring to a thief and have every right to distrust anyone holding the ring/selling it. I'd be pissed too and would even slap someone for it. (i slap when pissed)

Gondor is pissed coz he felt offended by remarks that he was the thief who took the ring. So he decided to stick to his plans to sell the ring. Gondor mentioned if gnu had spoke to him privately, he wouldve returned the ring.
You see gnu misunderstood you for the thief, so obviously he wont talk to you privately. He didnt know you found it. He just know he lost his ring, and you showed up selling it. Had he known you, he wont put up the post airing his suspicions. So it wasnt something done any with ill-intention.

So this whole situation was the perfect setup for a fight. And as for the pthief, hes enjoying the whole show. Harlot too seems be enjoying pitting you guys against each other.

Just my opinion, and i hate to see a nice friendly community turn sour over things like this. I like sloth more for the ppl in it, rather than playing (i have no aims for my char - eq/lvls/etc, and splorking kobolds still bring me great joy).

I'm usually very willing to help with CR's raises whenever I can help, and I'll still help anyone who's dead. My disagreement with specific people doesn't mean I'll stop helping, even those I disagree with. I know it doesn't help much, since I'm not online often these days.

Harlot isn't included obviously. Pthieves don't deserve even dialogue.
