on equal footing again more or less. it's a really fun game if you have a few guys in your guild that are on the same page as you.

I agree with 13...it's quite fun if you can find a group of people you like to play with.

If you're playing alone, trying to find groups with the random folks online it can be a bit depressing.

Most people don't seem to know what they're doing, or even care, really.

There are many fun things to experiment with, and both pvp and pve can be genuinely challenging.

I recommend it if you can control yourself enough to avoid addiction, becuase if you can't, it will consume your soul.

That said...you can find me playing Marmoset on pvp server Blackwing Lair almost every day.

No matter how much or what race/gender you pick from World of Failcraft - Lineage 2 leaves it far behind in any aspect.
How much 'addons' it has? Two? Lineage has about 9 or so and counting, it has same things - new level cap, guilds/clans, new areas/weapons/armor/skills/spells/etc.
You can also find a friends and play it together.

Character models are picked from the client, which means you'll see *exactly* the same when you log in to teh game.

Oh,btw. You have to *BUY* WoW addons, then *PAY* to play it, while all of L2 addons are free.

PS. The only thing both those MMO's lack is gore and viscera, a level of Bloodrayne-2 would be nice.

Free doesn't equal quality. Having said that, I haven't played Lineage just yet..but it is on my to-do list. I'm looking forward to comparing the 2.

From what I hear, Age of Conan blows major chunks and Warhammer doesn't quite live up to the hype but to each his own.

i did play L2 and while the graphics are pretty decent..the mechanics suck,
the quest-system sucks and the pvp is an outright ******' joke.


the expansion that WoW just put in is crazy. It will be like the 6th or higher.
There have been quite a few that we never had to pay for, the only ones that cost were BC and this new one WotLK.

Yes, graphics in L2 is OK, and if all you need from a game is cute female elves with tits, sure play it. But WoW is sooo much more complicated, has so much more to offer that it's just silly to compare two games like this.
