i don't think level restriction on the continent itself would be very fun. strict warnings before you go would probably be in order, and xp you get for a pk should be relative. makes it worthless to camp newbies, but the ballsy (or good) ones might be able to make some nice quick xp if they can come up with a crafty way to take out an avatar. if you make corpses recall at death (minus their gold, which drops for the winner) it still wouldn't make sense to camp newbs, since they probably don't have enough gold to be worth killing.
Of course, if you're running an avatar, and don't think you'd have a chance against someone with similar levels and eq, that's your own damn fault for being a wuss

I have already said a pvp / team vs. team area with pkilling included could be groovy, as long as it's not abused as an excuse for stealing eq, which I believe some are pushing for. Personally, I'm not into pkilling - if I was, I'd join one of the multitude of muds already out there. I choose sloth because it's mostly friendly, easy-going, and usually not full of a bunch of testosterone-hyped gimps who rely on a game to make up for their real-life inadequacies, so please just save the "let's settle this in the arena" bullsh*t for someone else.

In all honesty, its aggressive attitudes like this which causes the admin to be very skeptical of allowing a pk continent inside of SlothMUD. And when I play and pkill I am just as guilty as anyone.

We like our game to be friendly, period.
