If this is going to be replaced by eq randomly degrading and poofing, then I vote for the return of pthieves.

If any clan members of DoW are bored, they are more than welcome to help me pop the required comps to finish a flux of dreams.
After that I have lots of forges that could use a comp or 2 to finish.
Im sure other DoW members have similar eq needs.

Already seen sloth 4, and won that quest. April fools quest. Mike and Al rounded out the top 3 prize winners. Would be old news.

If pthieving was the only way you could be entertained in Sloth, you likely needed an new outlet to have fun anyway.

If more people play rather than quit, then removing pthieving was for the best. Pthief had evolved to something more than stealing a few items. So the response to cut it off for now was justified.

Sorry Reb. I just remembered you saying that you know who Hades is, but you won't say. I also noticed that Shaz and Hades have a similar writing style. So I started looking around old posts and find this dude Blastard/Shazuko praising our dear friend Frystenhart/Hades for being such a wonderful miscreant. Was trying to put together the pieces of who some of these disruptive jerks are. Guess it doesn't matter now, so I'll drop it.

ummm since i have an imm here and imms are privy to information the mortals do not have, the only thing i -can- publicly admit about knowing who hades is or is not (truth be told, i really don't) is that it is not blastard. trust me on this one. he may write similarly, but he's not hades or any other pth. i can guarantee that. and since the reason i know is again personal, i won't post it here.

I've put a lot of effort over the past week into scoping out what other muds are around, theres some good muds out there competing with us for players (and I don't just mean on TMC charts).

It'll be be nice to come back to sloth and feel at home again.

As far as I'm concerned SlothIII became SlothIV when the admin changed and the new classes came in. The mud, and the crew manning it are radically different than SlothIII and SlothII were.

Well, want to say thank you to the imms for trying out sloth as a no-steal mud. Will definately allow more freedom and in my opinion keep some of the newer players around long enough to find out how awsome this mud can be. Note to Poolp, Hades, etc... I hope that you can find some other aspects of the game that keep you interested and this decision doesn't drive you away from sloth.
