Pthieving Sucks - here's my rant.

We all make mistakes.

I like you Jag. your a genuine nice guy. It was I who made a 'portal' to you but I did not enter nor did I intend to enter. You see, I hate having lots of mana. Not all at once but it drives me crazt to just hang around with my hitpoints and mana at 'full'. undoubetdly, some other person was shadowwalking or something or the sort and that was the breeze you noticed.
Two similiar related but in no way connected circumstances. As far as the valk experience you are relating to, I don't know anything about it. I don't have a valk pthief, it's somewhat pointless. Why my secondary pthief is lowbie enough to hide on valk from bh/ah/ss/lyme, I haven't tormented anyone there.

I've mentioned the fact there is a level check for steal many times over the course of the last year and a half. This continually comes up because we refuse to publish the level and any attempt at stealing from these low level characters simply fails which leads some of you to believe its possible to steal from them.

I'd like to make an unnecessary point, albeit with some specific facts. The mud at this moment in time has been up continuously for over 5 days. We have easy access to pthief statistics and here is a complete lists of pthief activity for this time period.

All the pthief attempts:
Starbuck stealing from Mullah, 48 times

My point is, not only is pthieving not worth our changing, it's not something that even happens very often.

I give you all kudos in that it you do a good job making it hard for thieves to steal, you hunt them down when they try to and basically make the character unusable once discovered.

So, let's not bring up this topic and beat it like a dead horse again for at least another year.
