I think Krok simply meant that its almost impossible for clans to police members. The only way to find out alt chars is to level up an imm, then snoop ips. This seems a little against the rules.

For the record DoW does not support pthieving either. If I knew a current member was pthieving they can surely be removed. We want to represent the elite players of slothmud, not the vermin who terrorize n00bs. However, what someone did years ago, or on another game does not reflect how they are treated now. I treat people the way they treat me and other fellow players. Everyone has a bad day and might say stuff they dont mean. I even remember one time when Qa said he would never join a DoW group. That never stopped me from inviting him. That being said I think you guys need to back off Gimlet, hes a good friend if you give him a chance.

I wouldn't feel too bad G. Nor and Jor have been around and are pretty lame. Nor spent some time trying to hack my scripts so he could force me to quit!, drag me out of a safe area and loot me at will. I imagine he would have eventually modified it to get me to remove some key equipment if he could have gotten it to work. While it might have been interesting if he had gotten it to work, I'm pretty sure client rape would have gotten him wiped, banned, or worse.

I logged on and saw Jor on, so I spent about a minute giving him a hard time. He decided that being webbed and blinded at recall wasn't as much fun as advertised, and left. Since I was only on to check clan news, I rented about a minute after that. Was about 4 minutes total I think.

So... you're not missing much.
