Thief Trip40 Eq

Judging by my current stats 18 / 35 15 12 18 18 what two items would you take for trip40 if one already has scarab of destruction?

Th/Mo/Cl/Ma is the classo.

I've thought about getting the .6 +2 hit +wis belt which I will do still most likely. On the second item I thought about getting the 1.7 leggings but currently judging by the amount of drachma it costs to get Spinning Bracer of Razors I dont think I'll get those for a little while. So I figured I have Crystalline silk robe and 2 interwovens I wouldn't need the spelldam from the 1.7 leggings...

I also thought about getting the +2 str crown for now but once I get vigor i'll only need 2 str and I think I would prefer the +2 hit prison helmet...

Anyone got any Ideas?

well, the crown is nice for the manaregen as much as for the str - it's one place we seriously hurt The +2 hit belt is kinda nice i suppose, but there's another +hit belt that is just a regular pop, and +hit really doesn't seem to help a whole lot above +20 anyways. I'd say get the spelldam leggings and wear opals instead of circles of energy, sell those circles and use the drach towards some spinning razors when you have the levels to wear 'em.

Go with the belt, crown, or rings. Everyone needs mana the the rings are
a good place if you don't need anything else. Also I think Strider stated
the more +hit the better, and he runs +27hit.

Sell those circles to me!!!

i would get reroll tokens for 3x40
then crown and dagger if your str is still around 1830
if not then leggings and the dagger until avatar when you trade dagger for bolt+tome


but thats just the opinion of a 5x40 th/ma/cl/mo

-.4 +2mr +25ma x2 = +50mana, two bolts or at least an aegis.

Since he doesn't "need" anything else why not go with some mana?

look will I dont have the inclination to go through all the gear
out there but he could damn sure use more than those two faggoty rings

as a double non-caster the shroud benefits him for regen gear
dumbass, as would the crown...having an AC set for a thief prime
is sort of cool but really a waste of time and money. i tried it
and -8 with spelldmg and dmg and stabdmg is the way to fly
imo. he can get ac from different rings and margn/mana from
different rings..he doesnt need them at the same time taking up both
of his triple 40 items.

focus on levelling fable..get off the crier
then when you have spent a couple months as a geared 40 tard
then you can complain and start giving people advice

and dont even bring up that th/wa that you bought or the wa/th that
you levelled because neither one is relevant anymore really.

Well Aa, I'm glad ur so fired up!

Like u stated as a Th/Mo he doesn't really need two "faggoty" rings for
regen. Sure he doesn't but then what use would Shroud do? Since he
isn't going to regen that much on ma. Since he stated he doesn't really
need the str items, what else can help him on him runs. Hence why I
suggested rings. If he is stab/blast and can have +4mr and +70ma its
going to help him alot more then shroud! Same with the crown, being ac-1.2
+3mr and +2str He can use a firey helm with same ac and +30hp. Ooo I
guess I was wrong on ring, it has been changed to -.4 +2mr +35ma.

Another item that might help is the leg clasp. Just +40hp more is always a
plus.

the problem here is that there isn't any good 3x40 items for thieves!!!
early on tome and dagger is fine, but once ya forge scarab and kris they
just aren't any fun. leg clasp is nice, more so for the hp regen than the hps, especially when ya add it in w/ the monk's contemplation and what not. since ya need this wis anyway the +hit belt is a solid choice. leggings would probly work well for you also, anyway you go you can make work, that's the fun and whole point to the variety.

one thing i will say about the rings is you don't wanna waste two slots where a thief can add +hit and generally not add dmg, from +2 to +4 if ya don't care about the ac. hit those stabs and ya don't need to worry bout blasting!!

I think you are seriously over estimating the benefit of +hit. AC is a much better bet imho.

For Copra, I would say either the belt for the +2hit, wis, and more ac. Or
the leg clasp.
