We've had this error in the past. Usually it means the game is fine and chugging along without us. The physical connection to the server is hosed. If anyone has Brian or Rick on speed-dial, now would be a good time to get ahold of them. Most likely the only thing that can bring Sloth back is a call to the host provider.

Can any imms that are checking the boards give us an update or an idea how long we're gonna be down/if the game is still running and the problem is w/ the provider/etc.

yeah ive been checking the server info applet....the current time on the website isnt the same as everywhere else....and the groups are still identical and the same people have been logged in....IMHO the mud is completely down and nobody is actually on it....just seems like the server is locked up.....

not sure but thats what the evidence seems to point out....

which as ole aaron says in one glorious word does indeed

Since the site's not hosted in the same location as Sloth (as far as I know), Sloth could still be running internallly as 12345 says, but if the site has no connection to the server then it would probably(?) continue to display the last collected data on live info.

The Mud doesnt seem to be currently running it just seems that the site isnt getting info from the game just like we cant. And the server seems to be completely down.

You realize of course that if there's no route to the host, there's no way for anyone to be able to tell if it's still up or down. That's like cutting to phone line to someone's house and then trying to call to see if they're home... it just won't work. Sloth was up when the host became unreachable. Since no one has been able to connect since then, it's difficult to believe that it would have crashed between now and then.

First of all little birds cant physically move servers, they need some type of force field or large machinery. Secondly Warriors cant talk to little birds, maybe this was just delusional tap tap tappings on the chamber door. Is there a way to cast 'chronos' +2 hours and get this over with.

I had a frog that had alleged server-moving skillz once, but then I hugged
him a little too hard and he peed a little blood from his eyes. The frog
was discreet though, very discreet.
