Big, Big Auction

After giving it a lot of consideration, I have decided to take an indefinite break from Brady. I’ve spent the vast majority of the past year sitting right here where I am now. That was okay because, truthfully, I really needed a break from life. Now I think it’s time for me to get back to it. The temptation to get sucked back in to 12 hour Sloth shifts is one that I don’t want. So, that being said, I have decided to keep Brady under my management and sell of his non-personal eq, piece by piece. I will take the dive back into real life, Pirates will get a new home and hopefully each of you will get some benefit from the time I spent gathering my eq. So Wednesday at 9:00est will be the time. Oh and this is going take awhile so deposits will need to be made within 1-2 minutes of the auction or your item will go to the next highest bidder.

Thanks to everyone that kept my life interesting, especially me Pirates (and argh, DOW I suppose) but many, many more too. I won’t be a stranger. Oh and if you have questions about stats, look on the website for God’s sake.

What are the onyx necklace of demons? I didn't seem to find them on the eq list (or I'm blind).

Brady keep the shit man, if you just cycled for coins it would take less
time to come up with castle-money than it would to replace all your eq.
In my experience (and I have plenty of it) when you quit Sloth, just
rent and have Rick change your pw for you, then email him for it back
sometime next year. I've quit and 'sold out' many times. If I had just
had someone change my password, I would still have crystal sleeves, red-gold guards, belt of orion, crystal boots, a RoH and about a thousand
restrings. And Ghost would still be the ******* Ghost Faced Killer, not this
douchebaggery that is now Shival.

The Onyx Necklace of Demons is -0.1 and +20 mana plus performs a special feature in the Shadow Realm (like a trigtrap in a certain room). The eq loads on the nightwalker in the Shadow Realm. There is also a note in the area that gives clues about the necklace's special feature. I'll submit it to the eqlist once I check the restricts on it.

On a side note...there is an invisible portal in the room with this nightwalker which will teleport you to the altar in Akasha's Temple. The portal is not on either map and is two-way.

I have to say I agree, don't sell anything. You'll end up giving stuff away for silly prices, and regret it later. Ask one of the immortals to password the char and wrap it with an isntruction at your request not to unpassword until a given date even if you ask

Seriously, don't do it unless you are seriously intending to quit for good, and then go whole hog and give the character and equipmenet away to deserving people. All that happens otherwise is people with too many coins get morev equipment they don't need, and you will come back in 6 months and never be able to buy back the stuff for what you received for it.
