Druid Classo

Hello,

I'm thinking of creating a Druid character and I debating between Druid/Mage/Cleric/Monk and Druid/Mage/Cleric/Necro. Can anyone offer advice as to the strengths and weaknesses of these two classos. Will there be a significant difference in Mana and Mana Regen?

Mana regen? No difference. Mana total? Decent difference. Monk gets no mana for quad and Necro gets a couple points a level.

Monk has a really nice skill list and, of course, free strikes and nice barehanded damage at levels 20+. Necro has undeads that give you extra attacks, damage splitting options and lots of other cool stuff, but is high lag and relatively weaker undeads in quad position.

Depending how you like to play, you could go either way with it.

In addition, the Druid/Mage/Cleric/Necro does not get protect.

Druid classo

I've been thinking, and can't really come up with a good druid classo. In the past, necro was the only class that worked in combination with druid, but no longer. Cleric probably is the next best synergy, since you can at least armor yourself and get sanctuary. I'd suggest moving cleric to second class and mage to third.

That is assuming you want to shift. I'm not even sure that's the case. Some people these days might take a Druid/Mage and play like a Mage with bonus MR.

Depends on what you're doing. If you were making a concept character who solely shifted, max mana isn't such a bad route since I don't think you can regen mana while shifted. Dr/Me/Ne/Cl I think would give the highest mana total for a Druid prime.. but makes those protective spells tougher to get. No protect and lowish hps... Can't argue with the mana totals. Would probably need to stay grouped during the Valk levels.. and as a bonus would even be able to shift in groups since they'd most likely be out of the healo and at the back of the group. And with poison and some of the other druid skills, they'd make a hell of a groupie.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I am leaning towards the Dr/Ma/Cl/Ne. That is close to max mana for a druid and I won't have to wait forever for sanctuary and other cleric spells. We'll see how it goes.

One more questions. Does secondary mage have any benefits over tert and quad? For example, I believe secondary druid still gets mana regen boost; is there something similar for mage like spell bonus boost or something?

sec mage does have higher spelldam cap than tert-quad, but it's completely redundant in a druid. If you're going druid prime, make ne second, get wraithform - it's not like you're going to be doing any blasting while shfited.

If someone at all has it written down, could they please post the hp's, mana, and moves you gain for levelling all classes in every position. It would be nice to pick a classo and see ur final totals without eq.

It changed depending on what class you have in what position and what your Con is. I'm also pretty sure it's considered imminfo.

If I remember right, it was on the old website in the Library. Sililar to the table in the Avatar section.

Also, I may be mistaken here, but I don't think CON is used anymore to determine HP gain.

Actually, I think the chart you're thinking of was the one that listed the hp gain different classos got per con rating. It was also pretty incomplete if I remember correctly :)
