Ok according to the eq list, the wyvern at crystal falls is supposed to pop some perm fly armor.
Winged Wyvern Plate Mail Wyvern (??) Crystal Falls -2.2 Perma Fly SM EC ET AdW [OR]
A few people have commonly killed this mob and say it no longer pops. However other people claimed to have popped this eq on the mob and semi recently.
I cycled the beast for 3 days and got a branch and a random spellbook.
After reading the post about the greyhound at castle I am wondering whether you could please check this mob as well Isabo?
If you have popped this eq or know whats happening... plz post!
Also... There is also a "Ward" behind the wyvern room according to the crystal falls map. But you can't get there... anyone been able to get there?

That armor was always one of those mystery items that I could never prove existed, other than in someone's vault. When w&g went in, that and a few other items were the first things I looked for, and it said it didn't exist. I have no idea if that ever popped on the wyvern, if it does and I had keywords wrong, or if it's a myth that it loads there.

I'm fairly certain it wasn't a weekly, because I think it's from before they ever started doing weeklies. I could be wrong, I'm a bit fuzzy on what happened 6+ yrs ago on sloth. Any other opinions?

It wasn't a weekly. Riceman pretty much cycled the wyvern non-stop for weeks on end, and only got about 3 pops. When I became immort for the first time of many to come
, the wyvern had already stopped popping it, so we are talking year 2000 here. I vaguely remember it only had two keywords with one being not so obvious, something along the lines of "wyvern wings."

There were a bunch of dragon armors introduced in Tysmiha's limited-time forges. One of the armors had permafly much like the wyvern mail does.
