Emerald of Insight Clasp

When I first started the game I forged two instances of the clasp of life and death and wore both (and still do).

Next I forged a flawed glowing gem and realised it worked on both light and held low item. So I forged another one, however when you try to hold the second item (e.g. the torch or the held low), the clasp falls off, you cannot have two of the clasps in use at once.

The emerald of insight clasp bought from T&D shop (+1 Max_int, attach to ring) is a great item. Can I have two like the clasp of life and death or only have one like the flawed glowing gem? 200 dr would be a lot to waste on a second copy I could not use.

Futhermore, in general how does one find out the rules of a clasp?

yes you can wear 2 of those..

some clasps you can only wear one. flawed gem has a limit of one.

a quick check shows a few things also have a limit of 1 but they seem to be things you can only use 1 at a time anyways ( clasp on boots etc )

Testing. Iolite of Omah and flawed glowing gem are two clasps confirmed to have this restriction; I recall no reports of other quantity-limited clasps. It would be interesting to know, and painful to test, whether these clasps are quantity-limited:

shoop-shearing device
fish-scale buckle
golden oak tree charm
some stardust
ruby serpent eyes
