what to do at 9x40

Postby Thraxas » Fri Jun 13, 2014 11:34 am

ok so 9x40 is still a long way off for me - I worked out yesterday that at 2bill/week I'll get then on 22nd August 2018 but I cant help thinking about what will be left to do when I get there.

Was chatting today and came up with the idea of giving 9x40 the ability to remort their char in order to gain prime abilities in another class.
Maybe at 9x40 flip the char back to lvl 1 with a new classo ... once they level up to 3x40 they can switch back to 9x40 and take with them the prime ability of the class they've just levelled.

Just an idea - would welcome thoughts.

Oh sorry. We don't have exactly that feature. I merely meant that there is a remort program.

You get a new character that has some bonuses, the primary of which is an experience multiplier so that they level faster. I forget what else they get.

We have tokens which Avatar characters get to use for secondary characters. This is because we figured they would not want to ruin/waste their prime character and hundreds of hours on something else. Please see the thread regarding Avatar tokens for more information.

Would love to see it.

We have a 'super newbie' program, but its not working well.... the bonus always seems to fail before 1x40, and for others has been sporadic after.

Presently you can purchase about 1.3 trillion exp worth of stuff from the avvie shop. most avvies will want at least half of this.

Mosly max avvies support teaching and are the engines for small groups. For example, even with a small tank, if you have a large caster ...zuzu for example, you can lead a group thru matterhorn ...

Bullying newbies will not go well for any max avvie... or any not so max avvie... maybe not instantly fatal, but generally will result in shunning. If you see a max avvie that is never invited to be grouped, you may consider this. Same with botting.

Newbies that stay long enough eventually realize who to ignore. Imm will never ignore... p

Essentially, max avvie allows me to forget the required, and become custom in whatever way i want. For cy i chose ac tank... others do damage, blast... mana regen... whatever... pick something and abuse it.

Soloing large mobs is more fun before max avvie, that is more of a persons choice, and build... some ppl like the challenge, others just want efficient exp..

Well, i am at the limit of my grammar and spellchecker memory, so... best go.

Hope to see this feature added, or improvements on the super newbie program. And more tanks... and more cute woman.. and and and..

Yes, I know super newbie is a bit broken but I haven't had time to fix it.

Actually last time I tried to fix something it required me to reboot/crash the mud so I can fix it but I got nothing but stress over it so while it got better, it is still broken.
