Who pops song of Ebisu?

It was revealed that the Song of Ebisu was popped by largemouth bass at the Crystal Falls. I've cycled it for a few days without any luck. Then I found out that the area has been changed recently. Now largemouth basses don't leave corpses on death:
Total exp for kill is 336.
Your blood freezes as you hear largemouth bass's death cry.
The bass carcass floats downstream.

Taking into account the fact that the item has disappeared from the eqlist it could disappear from the game at all(similar case is basin of balms, cp for prime bard forge, which was loased on man in shackles, who doesnt exist anymore after Zodiac change).
Dear imms, please, confirm that the Song of Ebisu(which is cp for prime bard song 'dance of the seven luck gods') is still in-game.

I've wealth & gloried song-ebisu at Crystal Falls and got following result: "'I think [on ground] had one of those!'"
What does that mean?
