Basin of balms

Any idea who pops it now?
According to eqlist, it was a man in shackles in Zodiac Castle. However there's no man in shackles now, but a shackled priest, who doesnt seem to pop this item(cycled it for a few days). I've ran around the world with the wealth and glory, but noone heard anything.

Also, while there, a few more items questions.
Is mujen doll pop rate good? I've got got 19 books consumed by the flames from Wu in CK and still no doll.
Same question about ring of death from wraith guard in the Darken Wood. Have killed a lot of guards and still no ring.

I thought mujen doll was the strike book that loads in star city. Is there another mujen doll?

Yes. the mu-jen doll is a +4 hitroll low item. The item you're thinking of is a mu ren zheng (barehanded accuracy book item).

As for the basin of balms - I found one I had on storage and sent it to Kung. I know it still loads somewhere on a treasure list, which means it won't show up on eqlist, won't show up for wealth & glory, and there is no dedicated popper since the man in shackles got entirely replaced with a different mob and no longer pops basin. I'll see if the basin of balms can be made to load on another mob someday soon.

I also think it may be a brew somehow but don't quote me on that.

Finally popped mujen doll from 5th or 6th Wu after reboot.
There may be a bug. Before reboot I've killed 30-40 Wus, got 21 books consumed in flames and no doll.
Before reboot Wu popped items in stash. After reboot - in inventory.
So maybe it doesnt pop doll if it uses stash.

Thinking here by 'stash' you mean 'cache' :

If there's a cache in a room, certain types of items will be prioritized to load
in the room cache rather than inventory/worn. While I won't go into detail about
what items do this, I will make a note here that if you discover a room cache when
you hit a mob once, then the room cache will be there when you hit the mob again
until the system reboots by some means. During those times, the priority
does not change, and therefore those types of things that were prioritized
to the room cache will again be priortized to the room cache as they were before.

I hope this helps.

Imagine a pigeon in a cage with a button and a trapdoor. Pushing the button has a 1/20 probability of opening the trapdoor allowing the pigeon access to a food treat. The bird learns that sometimes pecking the button opens the door and sometimes not, but has no idea that the affect is random. The bird starts to associate random correlations into theories on when the door opens and when it does not. Then imagine that the pigeon submits a bug report the crier saying that the door mechanism is broken and only works when the pigeon spins in a circle 3 times, stands on one leg, while pecking the button very rapidly. The scientists read the bug report and laugh hysterically.

The End
