I've noticed that my lowbie undead (spectres/ghouls) are apparently missing one eye and are almost completely blind in their other eye... i.e. they have trouble hitting a barn from 5 feet away, as long as the barn has some AC to its name. In catacombs, my spectres with Unholy Aura had a miss rate of about 90%. Is this intentional?
In general, people have been telling me that undead just kind of suck now. Which sort of blows for me, since I rolled a classo somewhat reliant on them. Any information on this issue would be much appreciated.
Edit: I should clarify that this refers specifically to fighting the ghouls/ghasts/wights. Bigger mobs = more ac, sure. But I'm mainly curious if undead control equipment now provides more hit than previously.
