Skill stats and usage

Against my better judgement and to get some chatter going amongst friends, I am posting 7 days worth of skills and their hit misses. I am not doing this to cause a stir or riot but to get some friendly banter going regarding our skills.

Those of you who say the skill is broke or the hitroll and ac is not working, please check out the skills and their hit percentages. I think you will be pleasantly surprises, or disappointed because everything seems to be working out rather nicely!

Small update on this, after some checks it was found that the deathgrip counter was broken, and apparently it will be fixed next reboot.

Splork seems to think that deathgrip whiffs are mainly being caused by low +Hit at the moment. He suggested you would need about +20 to start seeing a 85% hit rate on deathgrips, hence it's important to have a dam/hit balance.

Hopefully once the counter is fixed any further problems will be highlighted in the stats. Splork mentioned possibly posting these stats to the website each week... A move I think is a good one... especially when we go through those "lost con" cycles that seem to hit from time to time.

Thanks for making this info open Splork. I guess it is possible some of the other counters are broken too, we would be able to quickly see these if new stats were to be reposted against our own player checks.

Also for those who weren't on. Once an item has been popped and or identified it will start appearing on the new eq list to be released soon. This will be done automatically in the code. So please, when the new list comes out, if your items are not on there, please identify them.

Well the code works as originally intended, to make sure casting percentages and skill percentages were working correctly and to also show us which are being used the most or in the opposite case, which spells or skills need looking into because they are never used.

I added additional code tonight to get a true reflection on how often these skills are hitting by including the misses caused by armor/hitroll.

Ill post the results in a few weeks.

Some of these stats just can't be right. Mainly those ones with 0 fails. Kick fail seems to high, strike fail seems to low, and who has avatar attack and why is it working 100% of the time? Rapid shift and Battle Shift aren't as bad generally as these stats make out either.

*confused* I know these are guides, but I think a lot of them are not working right, or taking +hit into account.

I'd also like to know, who the heck is using dodge? :shock:

There are no immortal checks and all of these stats are prehit.

Most of the skills with 0 fails do not have a fail check.

Ill try to clean them up tonight or tomorrow.
