Hm. Afk for a week or so and I seem to miss all the fun.
@Mace: The fluffy bunnies and happy little clouds all seem to be notell. Or invisible.
@Toxis:
Curious though:
"You have ruined it."
"You have driven players and imms away."
"...but you don't realize anything I've tried to say."
"This is your mud..."
"You can make this all about me."
Who's this "you/your" you keep referring to? The admin? The people responding?
How is this mystery "you" making this all about "me"? I see a lot of "I QUIT", "I HATE being dispelled", "I hate you.", "...anything I've tried to say.", &c. I don't really see anyone else making it about yourself aside from yourself: everyone else is simply responding to you. Is this "I" and "you" the same? If "you" is the entire imm staff, didn't you also state that you were a significant part of said staff by being a builder and an immort that was level 45? Or do all these negative things only apply to the rest and exclude yourself. Please help clarify this for me.
So the mob reflected a dispel. I'm curious, did this cf the entire group? Did Wu wipe the group because of this fluke chance occurrence? Was there no chance at recall? Did it break the game? Did the stars fall out of the sky? Or was it just a minor inconvenience/maybe another four, five minutes of regen.
A noshout and a babality. Is this really too extreme? So what would players propose then? What would be considered "fair", or "just"? I am truly curious about this matter.
Imms are here to help sloth. There is nothing to be gained by having imms being at ends with the playerbase. I have no idea where this 'imms are out to get the population' mentality is even coming from. See splork's post really, that sums things up rather succinctly.
Honestly, I almost quit being an imm because I saw and received a high amount of flak from just a small a handful of loud players just because I did things that they didn't like. Fallon changed. Chobbs did it. Chobbs must be trying to destroy the mud. No other explanation. Never mind anything else he's done. Chobbs must be bad because he made one thing harder. Two things? Three? Oh, he must be another evil imm. Or the entire imm staff is corrupt. I happen to like the other imms; they're fun to work with, and I see nothing but their dedication to making sloth better.
Sloth is just a game. Games end. Sometimes folks just move on to other things in life. It's sad when friends go, but I also see that you also continue to make a lot more.
At the risk of being considered part of this "you" that is making this about "me", I will saying please stay. You're an amiable fellow when you're relaxed, so let's aim for more of that shall we?
Chobbs!
