Newb question

Postby badden » Wed Oct 28, 2009 12:46 am

Is it customary for a group to engage a mob, and during the fight, someone change their gjob to include the mob because it has popped? Guess there's technically no violation of sorts, just bad form, eh? I think I expect too much from people.

There's no rules in grouping, only common courtesy.

I could technically loot a mob and don't give or split and there's no violation of rules. But the group/leader will recall me within minutes.

On the other hand, I've grouped with leaders who decided to take my mob because the mob repoped and loaded while I was taking a short break.

I still remember when we did small eq group and all of us know who's calling which mob, we just called all kinds of funny mobs to confuse new comers

Yes.

Usually in the hope that no one will notice.

Luckily there's this thing called 'scrollback' that takes care of it in most groups. :)
