Chobbs, for real? You know damn well what I meant in that arguement. I meant your arguement is weak, so **** it I'm done and I got my 2 so I'm happy, and I feel sorry for those who want the shield. That's what I ******* meant.

And I led those groups where the power of the group would sit out, and then all the sudden THE TANK WOULD FLEE and dammit, what the hell. You lead that crap and see how you like it. You wonder why I put the god damn diamond ring on the alert guardsman. Holy crap, you imms cannot be this stupid not to see our ******* point.

I don't disagree with your most of your response, but this is different than saying there's a choice. What this says below is that anyone with a small group of friends that are powerful enough can probably convince their friends to sacrifice some honor in order to pop the shield. I agree with that argument, but it's different from there being an option with open groups.

Mornin' sirs,

Added another quest. Muck around Ogre Caverns on SS, g'luck running there. It's a short quest, but again, let me know if I buggered anything about it.

A large splatty group quest in the works, hopefully first mob will show up next week sometime.

I only know what you said, not what you were thinking. You did not disagree with me, unless nod means something else entirely. You didn't even bring up any points until well AFTER that snippet. Like I said before, I don't profess to be omniscient, so I don't know what you're thinking, only what you actually said.

Tank fleeing, are Imms responsible for that? And yes, I wondered why you put the diamond ring on a mob that was 10x smaller than the king at the same exact rate.

Despite however you spin it, this is not a case of Imms v mortals, so please, please, please stop romanticizing this as some great conflict. We are here to help, but part of our responsibility is to make the game interesting and to ensure some semblance of balance, however unpopular those choices sometimes are spun.

Please find me ingame and we can discuss this reasonably.

On a related note, to my knowledge, that shield was never meant to be -1.1. Especially not in such a heavily run area, nor on such an easy mob. It was an unfortunate oversight, but rather than take it out entirely, now there will merely be consequences for getting this near max ac shield.

All I know is that shield was sold for 4 symphonia seals and it would be really unfair to change his stats after.
