breath weapons

I don't think that having a few abilities that initiate combat with other players makes this a pvp mud. Like Splork said, if the person died then he would reimburse the lost xps. If someone's doing this repeatedly to kill others, I'm sure that person would be corrected as well.

A non PvP game should be just that NON PVP but hey, who cares right? let's just exploit the system and kill off the innocent to ruin the other person's fun.[/quote:2cmpq7nf]

In your case it does sound appealing.[/quote:2cmpq7nf]

in my case I was in no danger of dieing, but my wife, Baby Niteraven and Paka were. So what you are saying is you would like to pvp then I advise going to another game, if you wish to pvp me try Conquer Online Tornado Server. that is where I PvP at not on a non pvp game kthxbye
Death is the next great adventure.

I wasn't there so you can tell me to STFU, but here is my take on it.

According to the posts it was not an intentional attack. Accidents happen especially when people get new abilities and try them out.

I recently got the Wyvern form and went to kobolds to try it out. See, I'm not always a dummy. :) It was a surprise to me that "breathe frost" was an area spell.

And a noob using an area spell where he shouldn't is just that. A learning experience that shows them they have a lot to learn. Like I do.

Reminds me of the time some imm rained catapults. I climbed in the first one I found and went from vk to ah very quickly. Hilarious, I think I landed on some big tank and they were kind enough to raise me.

So, next time some newb area spells people or pets, give them a good toss and then raise them, if you can, to show no hard feelings.

HMm, it was I who did it.

I saw Sirrico tossing Niteraven and he was asking Sirrico to stop it. I couldnt toss anyone so i decided to test what i've been told before that druid forms can use breath weapon on players.

I didnt want to PK anyone, just wanted to test one thing when i saw you guys fooling around.

I wouldnt have killed anyone as i saw your autoreporters on, but i am sorry for my misconduct Sirrico.

Didnt think it would cause you guys so much pain and hardships. :(
This drivel is worse than any political thread.

Is this what we've become?[/quote:2bcqhnu9]

God forbid we should discuss anything relevant to the game

'We' haven't become nething....perhaps YOU've become a cynical, crabby old-skooler like Alias.

Cheers.

Reimbursing xp for tomfoolery? That is not the SlothMud that I know. Hell we couldn't barely get an eq reimbursement for something that wasn't our fault in the past and now your saying that any time someone dies and gets on the crier and whines hes gonna get reimbursed xp?

Then we find out that Sirrico was using toss, which is a pvp skill?

If you want a mud full of whiney n00bs I guess your satisfied. As for the old schoolers like Alias and I, it is obvious you don't want us around.

Good day.

There are plenty of old-schoolers from this game, especially since we have been up and running a solid 18+ years now.

We are happy to have "whiney n00bs" around just as much as we are to have you crabby old-schoolers around.

One hand feeds the other. The game moves forwards either way.
