The problem is half you. He enjoys berating you because he always gets a lame but passionate reaction from you. I enjoy how he ticks you off so much, and your responses... and I have nothing against you... it's just so lame it's funny. He drops the bait, you bite every time. What bait and trolling are you talking about?
I noticed a nice coincidence in Sloth' messages and changed them in order to cheer everyone up.
No idea how that can be treated as offtopic or worse.
All my pics always in proper thread and related to the topic.
And always those two came up with insults etc, most likely just assert themselves at my expence.

I guess this is the place to post, welcome to SlothIV. I had some spare time last week, so I logged into the crier. This was the first time I've been to the crier since January 09. Just a short note: life has been busy lately, I relocated again in Dec 08. This was the first of my relocations where I've had to sell a house, and it's been a fun time to try to sell a house. Also, we had a major software project going on at work, I spent about 10 weeks traveling during the first three months of 09 and workload has been higher than normal since. I haven't been active for some 6 months but I wouldn't say I was 'Retired' by any definition.

So I login during July to find that we've had a reset around April. Of course there's the initial shock and feeling of loss. Everyone has to deal with that in their own way. For me it's maybe not such a big deal. I've been through this with every version of sloth, and I knew even during Sloth1 that my character was stored on a server that I don't have any control over. There are some interesting concepts to think about here, and they are concepts that every gamer who plays online games will have to deal with eventually. I appreciate that Sloth is free and run by volunteers, which changes some aspects, but even the paid games will run into these same questions.

Welcome to SlothIV. I've read enough of the forum and spent a few days online, so I think I can post an early opinion. I like most of the changes I've seen. Also, I really appreciate that the admin have posted a lot of information - how the max stat system works, how we gain regen points when we reach certain levels, etc. Some of this would be a pain to try to 'discover' as players.

I really wanted to post to say "I'm here!" and "Thanks!". Again I appreciate that Sloth is free and run by volunteers. I may not agree with every policy decision, but I have unending respect for the admin that keep this game going.

I may play casually again in a couple of weeks. The 14th of August is the settlement date for my first house... new phase in life, good times.

Congratulations on buying a house, it was a major turning point for me as well.

I've started Plato as a warrior prime and Avatar as a cleric prime. Both are still newbies, Plato is closing in on 30 prime. I haven't started a druid yet, and I'm not eager to start a bunch of different characters. I'm working harder this year, I guess because of the poor job market (!) so I still haven't had much time to play.

It's very cool to see everyone again, though.
