3x40 eq is looking like the gravy to me.

Few questions...

How many pieces are we getting with the 8 class system...?

How exactly does this max stat thing work... so we can make informed choices without blowing 3m in exchanges... Like does the dex lower armor class by 1... does it work for shifts? does +str add dam? These are things we need to know.

Also looks like bards and monks kinda left out again? Why? Why no shoulder gear still, I mean WHY? Nice to see those booties get ac... I mean how stupid is spell dam and heal dam when your shifted... Never got that one... they did it to other druid items too... shifted spell bonus and heal bonus... unbelievable... in the old sloth those booties would be tempting, but playing different in this version.

There are a couple items here that are incorrect, so do not take these as set in stone until probably later tonight.

I think Splork is considering powering some items up...

Rigwarl (gossip): Will 19 dex reduce ac by 1?
Splork (gossip): no 19 dex doesnt increase by 1 ac
Splork (gossip): i donty remember the exact ac - for each additional dex

Missing 3x40 robes as well... maybe clasps for monks and bards... or some shoulder/robe items.

EDIT: Yeah undead control too. Flippin skin saggin necro's Maybe holy eq can be for 8 classes as well instead of just old classo.

I was wondering why in hell thieves would need a 3x40 weapon when there are so many of them out there that they can use?

Casters got their clasps, why not thieves get their own ?
I suggest:

Thin coat of diamond glaze

Attach to backstab type of weapon only
+5% excruciating blow
+25% apply poison lag (singe sleight of hand is hard to get these days)
+1 hr/dr
+10 mv regen

Ideas for new Trip 40 seem to have been requested so heres by tuppence worth:

As a necro I would like to see something aimed our way, UC is the obvious choice but it would have to either have significant UC or have other attributes to be of use as the UC element itself is only used during the summon. Perhaps:

Necklace of Plaited Intestine +2 UC +20 ma +2 maregen (neck)
or
a skull shaped brooch: +4 UC clasp (neck clasp)
or
Sable Ring of the Dread Lords: -0.4 + 35 mana +2UC (finger)

I take it the caps are the same as the old sloth? 20 UD is prime necro? It would be nice to know, think my necro order is 6th so what is my UD cap so I can make an informed decision? Will I be able to buy UD at tard... er if I ever make it?
