I hate to hear that someone is leaving because they just don't have the time to dedicate to Sloth anymore but if anyone understands, its me and several others here.

I have a fiance, a 1 year old, Im going back to school and finding time to run the game and then time on top of that to try to play is nearly impossible. However, I manage.

You should of seen Clink trying to help code some things while having a job that runs 24/7, a family that keeps him constantly on his toes, and me in his ear every other second. However, he managed.

The same goes for Jake, krom, juggle and others. However, they all find the time.

I think its because we all love this game. Its a fantastic hobby to have.

I know I will never be able to lead the who list like before or keep up with the power levelers again. I can still find a little bit of time here and there, to play my mortal and enjoy the game. Its amazing at how gratifying it is to simply pop a water breathing spellbook. Or the first time I cast sanc on Strider again. It really isnt about dedicating time to have the highest level character on Sloth or to reach the last level of sloth, log in and enjoy playing with your friends. Even if its only an hour every couple of days.

I mean, who really gives a sh#t if you can't firewind anymore? I certainly do not. What I do care about is that you stop in, grab a few levels, throw out some comments about warriors and their skills, and get away from your real life for an hour or two.

Here is a perfect example, Shyla has not quit. She will never quit on us:)
Yes, she may cut down on her time but...

Ranni is leading 'The Apalling Crew' on Thordfalan:
(Wa:0.13) Ranni
(Cl:0.06) Shyla

Enjoy,

Oh i am getting on and doing a very little, but my problem isn't about time I have time at least for the next week while I am still on medical leave. My problem is I can't do big groups b/c my eyes can't take it it gives me headaches. And because of that I will never have the levels to do what I really loved doing which was popping spellbooks relocating them to newbies...moving newbies and dowsing and teaching.
I still plan on being on, but it will never be fun like it was to ME.
I know everyone is different about what they like and things had to be done and that is life. But everytime i get on i am just depressed. I have yet to have any fun other than talking to my friends like ranni and stuff.
I will probably never totally leave b/c I just have no life with no kids and all but shrug.please by no means use what I am saying as a reflexion whether you should play or not. I am one of the few people depressed everyone else seems really happy about the changes and i am not just saying that I have heard what they say. Now if anyone wants to get me the levels I need to do what i love........cackle

I don't know of a player on sloth over the past few years that hasn't been helped by Shyla, I don't know of any player that dosen't have respect / admiration for her.
Many who play or have played here owe a lot to Shyla.

We all know Shyla isn't your average player with the same motivation / way of playing as the rest of us, she's demonstrated it time and time again, I'm not sure she should be treated in the same way as the rest of us.

I've no idea what the imms / shyla would think of this, but I for one would welcome in this one instance the imms creating a unique position for Shyla ... perhaps resurrecting the isatar title and giving her a helping hand to serious levels so she can do what she always did, and loves doing, not for her own gain but to help all of the rest of us find a comfortable home in the new Sloth.
