Is there a reason why you cant order followers while shifted

Van is correct, there was a good amount of Necro/Druid at the begining.
Ppl where shifting and then order summons to attack. This was way over
powering, so Imms took the ability to order while summon away.

Now if ur really fast, and the mob is really slow ... U might be able to order
and then shift. However I heard that either the summons stop attacking,
or u get dragged in before u can shift.

You can still order pets made with awaken while shifted btw.

Order/shift works okay even if you get drawn in, as long as you have battleshift. Not sure about pets disengaging though.

When soloing a mob that's biggern' me (which is nearly all of them), I'll order pets to tank, then shift knowing that once the mob refocuses on me it will cause a pet or two to disengage. One way around that is to wait for the mob to refocus on you, re-order pets, then shift (using battleshift and more mana). It's not as clean, meaning I actually have to get in the fight and tank, but it works.

Druid pets can be ordered during a fight, but I haven't used them to any great degree. Maybe a druid prime could shed some light on how to make the most out of them.
