Your gold is auto-banked when you enter. At start of tourney, a pre-agreed sum of gold is distributed to each team to purchase stuff. Currently the only things available for purchase are:
dispel grenades (can throw into an adjacent room, or just pull pin, give to player x and run away. Dispels all effects < 41 in the room on detonation.)
triple restore potion
tangle vines (good side - Stationary defensive mob that targets evil side)
grymlyns (dark side - charging wandering aggros that attack good side)

Dispel grenades sound awesome! I love it. Funny, only thieves have throw? I don't know if you're using that skill for the nades, even.

Just a thought, the shop you add doesn't need to be all new items. Plenty of potions and scrolls and coconuts around that might be useful in an arena. It might be good to disallow people from bringing in potions / scrolls from outside the arena though, and force the teams to purchase those items from their team gold.

Sounds like fun though, I hope to try it sometime.

2)Will this area be in full-blown chaos mode, or 'dueling' mode like the
arena
