This evening, the Dark One, Satan, got a bit uppity. It seems he stole a grenade from someone and thought as the leader of all evil he could bluster around a bit. For quite some time, most mortals ignored him in typical fashion.

The exceptions were a small band of suicidal fools: first Malison alone, then Yinao, Polk, and Ranger joined in. Satan experienced such humiliation as failing in 8 successive attempts to deal damage to Malison, being put to SWB by Yinao alone, trying to fight mortals protected by the great Questmaster of the Tower, and being idol dived.

Finally Satan had enough, and fled back to his lair in Hades. Group 'The Violent Adventurers' followed and laid an epic-level small-group smackdown on Satan, dealing 40% of his life with no permanent casualties.

At this point Polk, the fearless leader, decided discretion was the better part of valor, and called in assistance from anyone who felt like facing the lord of darkness. Such daring characters as Sarge, Kull, Bro, Elwin, and Laman came to lend their assistance. The powerful Ender watched over both the group and his pet, the ill-fated dark one.

In short order, Satan was destroyed and his holy grenade was given to Polk. After a side trip to help Shyla, Polk proceeded to lead a Rape of the Earth campaign, ripping through areas like Demogorgon rips through valkers. His mighty stabs alone laid low such beasts as Manraken, black dragons, and the Faceless Lord.

But nearly an hour later, Ender reclaimed the grenade, surely believing that such powerful adventurers had no need of such excessiveness. And thus it ended.
