I would be utterly amazed if someone saw this website and did not spend some time reading about our game or logging in.

The quality of this site now ranks right up there with that of commercial muds.

When I was looking for a MUD home, the website was one of the biggest things I looked at. To me, a poorly made webpage just reflected a poorly made MUD.

My only complaint is the same as some of the others; on high resolution desktops the whole website is scrunched onto the left side with 4 inches of blackness on the right. It also makes the forums look a bit scrunched because of this.

On your http://www.slothmud.org/themes/SlothIII/style/style.css add the following:

body {
margin: 0;
background: url(../images/slothIII_mainbg_full.jpg) repeat;
}

that should replace that black space with the same bg that's in the page background.. although the edges wont line up, but may look better than the blackness.

You could ALTERNATIVELY try this to center everything.. it may or may not work depending on a few other things, but worth a try.

body {
margin: 0 auto; /* center on everything else */
text-align: center; /* center on ie */
padding: 0; /* setting border: 0 hoses ie5 win window inner well border */
background: url(../images/slothIII_mainbg_full.jpg) repeat;
}

html {
margin: 0; /* setting border: 0 hoses ie5 win window inner well border */
padding: 0;
}

Website progress has been slow since its introduction but we are still slowly working on a few things.

Most notable, Broeggle is working on an Autoquest Module for us that will most likely be one of the highlights of the site.
