Again, just thoughts, but...

To bring something more into the clan idea,
why not to allow clans to register N ( N=1 ? ) clan item(s)
wearable only by clan members ?

It could be slightly improved versa of a standard ( non-forge/forge ? )
ingame item. Clan should choose an item to be modified,
acceptable improvements, name, keywords, long/short descriptions
and pay one time clan item registration fee ( XXXmil ? ).

After registration clan leader may buy ( another XXmil )
needed amount of clan items for clan members.

As for restrictions, think, the only restrictions should be clan membership
and levels ( no class restrictions ).

We are against forcing players to join clans to aquire special eq, spells, etc. A player who is not in a clan should be just as powerful as those who are.

Agreed Splork - or everyone will join the biggest and therefore wealthiest clan with the most eq, and if everyone is in the same clan, what's the point of having clans? ..not to mention the fact that some players may not want to join a clan anyway.

There was a suggestion a while back of having a clan-specific clasp that has no stats whatsoever and serves solely as an identity a player can wear and thus display.. did anything come of that idea?

i think KJ made a few but then i never heard anymore about it. i was interested in the no-stat clasps just for style points.
