Study feedback

I recently added a thief skill called "study" that was intended to make exploring easier, as it lets you tell something about a mob without actually getting into melee with it and getting killed. I've heard that some people have the skill now; any feedback? Is it useful in the function of making exploration safer? I am open to suggestions for other things to do to aid exploring.

study is great when combined with invis...
without invis, not so great...
nice addition

You carefully study a demoralized trooper, looking for weaknesses.
A demoralized trooper could easily fall to a competent backstab.
He looks fairly clumsy.
He doesn't hit very hard at all.
You think a demoralized trooper noticed your attention!
A demoralized trooper looks angry... maybe you'd better lay off.

I've only tried on a couple of small mobs so far and got attacked both times hehe

You can also combine it with hide. I think you really shouldn't be getting attacked very often if you hide then study, maybe 1 in 6 or 1 in 8. Unlike other commands, study shouldn't end your hide.

(Doing it while invis you won't ever get attacked, unless the mob can see invis.)

Useful when in group to study mob as it is attacked, though some will engage studier in combat.

Is it possible to add string about exp gained after kill?
Something like: It is a honour to defeat a spectral guard.
I think gained exp could be easily splited in 5-7 messages (intervals like 1-1k, 1k-10k, 10k-100k, etc)

Cause some mobs hit like a train, but have nice exp and some doesnt worth to be killed for exp.
