Undead control question

Hi all,

looking for a bit of info on the Undead Control bonus that is on some items.

Now, from what I have gathered, undead control gives your undead more hps, and makes them more powerful (hit harder etc)...is this correct?

Secondly, when does this bonus kick in? Do I wear all my +undead control stuff when summoning/animating and then switch back to by fighting eq because all the stats of my undead are set when I raise them? Or do I have to be continually wearing my +undead control eq in order to have my undead more powerful (i.e. as soon as I switch back to my fighting eq they lose the bonuses from my +undead control eq)?

NB: Not that I actually have any +cu eq yet of course , but I'd like to plan out what I need to be killing to get the eq best suited for me

+Undead Eq does in fact gives your summons more hp and more dam.

Also if you wear the eq, and summon and switch. The summons "should"
remain the same. I do know they had some talk about this, and it might
have changed since the last time I played my necro
