MUD down?

I have been unable to connect to the MUD for like the past 20minutes. Anyone having the same issues?

We have not forgotten about everyone. They have changed the NIC and switch to our server but still no external connections. Trying other things atm.

Sloth Server has finally died. We had ran on the same machine for nearly a decade. Have no fear, a new server is being built and Jake is going to try to work on getting the new one up and running sometime in the next 24 hours.

does this mean a complete player wipe for the whole playerbase and Sloth V?

Clustered Quad oct core Xeons w/ 768G ram fiber attached raid 10 array, and a OC-3 connection should suffice.

Truly impressive. DDO online, a massive and well-funded MMO recently went down much longer than this.

Looks like we are upgrading to an Intel Dual Core Processor, 4 GB ram and a Terabyte Hard Drive.
Pretty nice when compared to our old server which was an ancient p3:)
Jake is in the middle of the installation process.
