little supply shop. The walls have wooden shelves fastened to them.
Containing all sorts of different items. The ceiling is covered in a fancy
mural, painted in exquisite colors. The floor is made of solid stone,
complete with a ring cut into the middle for a roaring fire.

BTW, vendors still running out of money and refure to buy things. I'm not sure if I complained about this before and if their cash amount was raised or no, but anyway, increasing it even more would be nice and less annoyances.

No, those are two independent clauses and thus require a full stop, as in:
I'm sorry sir. I am currently out of those.
or a semicolon, as in:
I'm sorry sir; I am currently out of those.

Unless we except that the mud uses standard rules of email etiquette in which the comma is placed to indicate a short natural pause in speech.

The pedant in me prefers the semicolon, because it is arguably a textbook example of how semicolons can / should be used. However, aesthetically, I much prefer the single comma because it has a subtler profile than a semicolon. The full stop just looks to heavy and halts the flow of the thought. My suggestion would be to keep the comma, but change "I am" to "I'm" to make it more natural and give it a better flow.

Ideas: newly sold items appear at the bottom of the list.
Will decrease chance of buying wrong expensive items instead of cheap necessary ones, saving newbs' hard earned coins.

The comma is needed. At current spelling we learn that Mikala is a sorry (pained, grieved, chagrined, disappointed, afflicted, regretful, rueful, remorseful) sir (lord, master, gentleman, mister, governor).

I'm sorry. I don't see the indefinite article "a" which you refer to. If it existed, you would be correct, but alas...

http://www.grammarbook.com/punctuation/commas.asp

Rule 5. Use commas to set off the name, nickname, term of endearment, or title of a person directly addressed.

Examples:
Will you, Aisha, do that assignment for me?
Yes, old friend, I will.
Good day, Captain.

"sir" in that sentence is obviously a title of a person (the player) directly addressed, therefore it should be separated by commas.
Will you, sir, please put the comma where it belongs?
Thank you, sir, very much.

Yes those examples are correct. However, in the original example we have two separate independent clauses each with its own subject and its own verb. (Subject 1: I Verb 1: am Subject 2: I Verb 2: am)

Therefore, if you were to connect them with a comma, it would be a comma splice. Meaning you would have to use a semicolon or full stop, if you wanted it to be grammatically correct.

"I'm sorry, sir, I am currently out of those." is a comma splice. <-------grammar fail
"I'm sorry, sir; I am currently out of those."<-----correct, but ugly
"I'm sorry, sir. I am currently out of those."<-----correct, but choppy
"I'm sorry sir, I am currently out of those."<------incorrect, but aesthetically pleasing and acceptable netiquette
"I'm sorry sir, but I am currently out of those."<----ideal? conjunction ftw

Let's cut off "sorry sir" part and leave with "I am currently out of those.", or any re-phrased variance.
