Looks like nothing happens when you cast 'dark cloak' on your avatar perma light ability.

So avatar perma light ability is broken.

Can someone investigate it please, ask Cyprimus for moar info.

Sorry, you have to buy perma dark cloak now!

I haven't bought perma lite because dark cloak isn't on the list to buy and I don't want lite without cloak. Will it show up if I buy the lite?

there is no dark cloak in avatar shop.

I want to bring back that topic into discussion.
Is there any reason behind absence of dark cloak spell effect on perma light?
Was that hard to fix bug or definite descion that permanetnt light never should be cloaked for some reason? Could you reveal these reasons maybe?

Now we have way more 9x40 avatars who could use that permanent sanctuary spell. Maybe its time to do final choice of how that should be, if problem was just delayed.

I'd also like to see perma sanc being dark cloak-able, (or replaced with perma flesh golem... it suits my character's flavor more!)

I'd also like 'darkness' and 'undead visage' added to the list of perma spells.

yes because its not an issue i have time/desire to discuss when you guys dont like my answer..

in short, i am pretty sure that we decided not to do it due to balance issues.

i don't have the time atm to look for an email from 2013 or so which i may or may not have.

Well. At least its good to know, that i can spend my exp on something else.
But sad, that good spell in avatar shop is useless due to that limit. Since darkness isnt a thing you can freely drop out from that game.

Actually, real problem is that you just cant stop that permalight after you buy it, if you want to use usual aegis with dark cloak. So maybe good way around balance will be ability to turn it on/off with some special spell with big mana cost? Like 300-500mana(lets not forget about quad nocasters ). So it will be hard to abuse it. But we will be able to choose what we want now - permanent light that cant be cloaked, or no light at current moment.

I think the obvious choice is to remove the light. Or are spells applied to the character, instead of the light source?
