Reply from 209.139.208.64
averaged 10 pings time 239.25 ms
Interesting, having not looked in some time.
I use to ping the same in the 54ms-94ms range which is v-good.
I've noticed for the past 3-4 weeks that after wintin.net runs for 8-10hrs
that it got slower and slower. I've been shutting it down and restarting
wintin.
That seemed to get rid of a huge amount of the lag.
I have'nt introduced any insertion loss from my side in over 3yrs so.
Who knows? Stale connection, cache thing, talking mobs.

It has'nt resulted in anything I got mad about . YET.

Issue resolved

Postby *Splork* » Sat Jan 16, 2010 6:18 pm

Last night I screwed up and accidentally rebooted the live port instead of the builder's port. During this event, a second process of slothmud was attempting to start every few minutes and ultimately crashing because the live mud was already up and running. This process was causing the lag.

The issue was resolved early this morning.

Sorry guys,
