Did you follow the mob before gripping?

Same thing happened to me when I followed a mob and killed it. Didn't happen after I decided to stop following mobs.

Here is another interesting no exp bug. Acme followed me the other day, And I didn't group myself. We were in the same room, and he was killing a mob. He killed the mob yet neither of us got exp for it. I grouped myself we killed another mob it worked okie. I ungrouped myself as leader again and again no one got exp. That is kinda a strange bug.

I know very little about this topic, but I do have some background on it...

For those that like to mort, they often follow someone, but are not grouped with them. There was a bug that if you did this, it still split xp like you were in a group. I never really got into the whole morting thing, but in my brief experience with it, I actually built a script that follows a $leader so I could be led around and still not follow anyone and thes I wouldn't trigger this bug.

The bug was fixed. If the leader isn't grouped, the follower who gets the kill gets all the xp.

I'm not sure exactly what causes Qa's bug, but I'd be inclined to think that perhaps he was following someone and not grouped. It'd be the first place I checked anyway... there's lots of things that could be causing the bug.

Is that something you can check Qa?

I was followign someone. We were grouped and chatted. They dropped a link, and/or voided.

I grouped self and tried it... still no XP.

Some time later I was getting XP again. I will say that my leader had come back, but that may or may not have been the cause.

It sucks to lose 25 mil of solo XP, and then turn around and die an hour later. I would have been a step ahead if I never logged in today.
