Spellbook Marked Incorrectly for Necro

Postby SirRobin » Sat May 28, 2005 3:27 am

My character was level 15 when he saw this listing:

*1000 an unchanged spellbook

I bought the spellbook and was able to read it.

so where is it marked wrong? I checked eqlist and royal library, both say it's a lvl 14 spell.

I have seen a bunch of these items (mostly spellbooks) marked incorrectly like that. Basically, I trust the EQlist and 'help <spellname>.'

Actually the ! and * beside books follows the same logic as equipment. ! means its too heavy for you to pick up (or wear), * means you cannot use this item yet, as in wear, hold, equip. If you finds books like these with * beside them that are incorrect, you can send them to me at Akasha@slothmud.org, and I'll fix them as time permits.

Sorry, I should have been more specific. Akasha guessed what I was trying to point out. I was in the Newbatia Library, seeing what books they had for sale, and the one I mentioned was marked as if it was too high a level for my character when it wasn’t.

And yes this is a very minor thing, at least it is for me. I started keeping a list of all the books I still need, since it got to be too much of a hassle trying to remember what I have read and what I hadn’t.

if you type 'prac unlearned' it will give you a list of everything you haven't learned yet (or have only partially learned) :)
